Linda Genevieve Witkowski, born on September 1, 1955, to Herman and the late Rosemary Feyereisen, was born to eternal life on September 1, 2026, at the age of 71.

Linda was the devoted wife of Chuck Witkowski, sharing 47 years of marriage filled with love, family, laughter, and countless memories. She was a loving and proud mother to Adam, Carolyn (the late Justin) Paiz, Peter, and Kevin (Whitney) Witkowski. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she had for them was evident in all that she did.

Linda will be deeply missed by her father Herman Feyereisen; siblings, Dianne (Michael) Angst, Donald Feyereisen, Kathleen (Charles) Dieringer, Nancy (Gary) Zimmer, Teresa (David) Grosshiem, Mary (Bryan) Feyereisen, Cynthia (Thomas) Oskey, and Debra (Robert) Poull, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Linda was a woman who believed in making a difference, dedicating 30 years of her career to Waukesha County as a Budget Manager, after previously working for Milwaukee County. Her commitment to her community continued through 18 years of service on the Franklin School Board and her involvement with the St. Alphonsus Common Council.

Her accomplishments, however, went far beyond her career. Linda lived life with enthusiasm and curiosity and never seemed to run out of things she wanted to experience. She was a Master Gardener and a talented athlete who enjoyed golf, tennis, volleyball, softball, and bowling. She had a special love for hiking and took on the incredible challenge of hiking the entire Ice Age Trail. Traveling brought her great joy and created wonderful memories with family and friends. Among her many adventures, an African safari was an experience she treasured.

Linda also had a generous heart and believed in giving her time to others. She volunteered at Milwaukee Film Festivals, events on the Summerfest grounds, Franklin parades, and high school graduations. She supported the LDA and Alzheimer's Association and was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she was needed.

Those who knew Linda will remember her as someone who lived fully, loved deeply, and gave generously. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend. She brought energy and enthusiasm to everything she did and encouraged those around her to get involved, try something new, and make the most of every opportunity.

Linda leaves behind not only the people who loved her most, but also a lifetime of memories, accomplishments, friendships, and acts of kindness. Her adventurous spirit, caring heart, and love for her family and community will continue to live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
