Lois M. Schumacher passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, at the age of 91. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 68 years, John E. Schumacher, whom she dearly loved.
Lois was the devoted mother of Jackie (Tom) Jaworski, the late Lynn (the late Larry) Horch, and the late Diane (Robert) Giese. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jamie (Angela) Horch, Andrew Horch, Neil (Renae) Giese, Todd (Yari) Giese, Brian (Amy) Jaworski, and Julie Jaworski (Weiling Wu). Lois was also blessed with six cherished great-grandchildren: Sean, Amber, Robert, and Jackson Giese, Ellie and Everly Jaworski and two great-great grandchildren: Riley and Rowan. She was the dear sister of Pat (the late John) Stawicki and Bill (Kathleen) Konkol. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched with her kindness and love.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Julie, Lois' devoted caregiver and cherished friend for many years, as well as the compassionate staff at Oak Park Place and Legacy Hospice, for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided throughout her journey.
Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave., Milwaukee, on Friday, August 7 from 10:00-10:45AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
