Maria Jozefa Hankiewicz, fondly known as “MA,” was born on June 5, 1950, in Sindelfingen, Germany. She peacefully passed away at home on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her precious girls.

Maria was passionate about her garden and found immense joy in tending to her flowers. She was also an enthusiastic baker, delighting in creating treats for her family and friends. Her nurturing spirit and love of home were evident in everything she did.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Krystyn, Jeannie, and Debbie. Maria shared a deep bond with her sister and best friend, Krystyna, whose companionship brought her great comfort throughout her life. As a cherished “Ma,” Maria leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her much loved niece, nephew, and many cousins.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved niece, Donna. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
