Marilyn F. Anderson (nee Doberneck) Reunited with her beloved husband of 58 years, Carl J., on Friday, October 16, 2026 at age of 87. Marilyn was predeceased by her much loved sons Michael and Paul. Marilyn is survived by her children Susan (Kevin) Hough, Diane (David) Seils, daughter-in-law Karen Anderson and sister Rita Doberneck. Loving grandmother of Alecia, Ashley, Nicholas, Olivia and Tyler. Further survived by other family and friends.

Marilyn graduated Miscericordia School of Nursing in 1959. She started her career at St Joseph’s Hospital, later working for St. Luke’s Hospital for 27 years. Marilyn was a caregiver at heart and assisted many family members over the years. Marilyn was also a book keeper for her husband’s Salt Water Taffy fair business for over 50 years. Thank you to the staff of Aurora’s Hospice Group for their compassionate care they provided.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in November. Exact day and time are still to be determined.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
