Mark "Clyde" Cichacki

Mark D. “Clyde” Cichacki, 63, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026. Mark was born on September 3, 1963, to George and Carolyn (Haas) Cichacki.

A devoted Wisconsin sports fan, Mark enjoyed following his favorite teams and especially loved NASCAR. Sports were also something he enjoyed participating in, including softball, flag football, and fall ball. He loved being outdoors and found particular enjoyment in hiking through Wisconsin's state parks and exploring the beauty of the outdoors.

Music was another important part of Mark's life. He listened to a wide range of music and took pride in collecting his favorite albums. His attention to detail carried into many areas of his life, including his love of antiques and shopping for unique finds.

Mark always took pride in his appearance. He was known for being well put together and had a distinctive sense of fashion. He especially appreciated a good pair of shoes and enjoyed the little details that completed his look.

Those who knew Mark will remember his playful sense of humor and his unique laugh. He was always ready with a tease, a joke, or a quick comment that could keep people laughing. He especially enjoyed the holidays, including Halloween, and he took great pleasure in decorating for Christmas and making the season festive.

Mark was married to Loriann for more than 20 years. Although they later separated, they remained friends and continued to share a meaningful friendship to this day.

Mark will be dearly missed by his mother, Carolyn Cichacki; his daughters, Emilee (Marcus) Burmeister and Carissa Cichacki; and his beloved granddaughter, Amelia. He is also survived by his siblings, Deanne (John) Wakley, Melissa Leighton, and Andrew Cichacki; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua Wakley, Quinn (Maddy) Wakley, Hannah Leighton, Aidan Leighton and Loriann, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Cichacki, and his brother, Christopher Cichacki.

Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor, his many interests, his eye for detail, his love of music and sports, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the unique personality that made him who he was. Above all, he will be remembered for the laughter, memories, and moments he shared with his family and friends.

Visitation held at ST. MARY PARISH (9520 W Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners) on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM with a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Hales Corners.
