Matilda "Tillie" Haissig

Haissig, Matilda (nee Tappe) Found peace and eternal life on November 25, 2012 at the age of 85. Reunited with her beloved husband, Ray, and eldest child, Merry. Loving mother of the late Merry (Mike), Ray Jr., Peggy (Martin), Bill (Angela), Becky (Lloyd), Cindy (Paul) and Carolyn (Dean). Proud grandmother of Miquele, Drew and Amanda. Tillie was the last of 13 children born to William and Lizzie Tappe. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Tillie's life will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012 from 9 am until 12 pm with a service at 12 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Tillie was known for her love of gardening and animals, her soft voice and gentle nature. We will miss her beautiful blue eyes and warm smile.
