Maureen 'Mo' Crueger

Maureen 'Mo' Crueger, a spirited soul born on October 30, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, departed this world on February 14, 2026, in Franklin, Wisconsin. She was a dedicated and hardworking independent woman who devoted much of her life to helping others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Mo's vibrant personality was characterized by her sparkling, fun-loving spirit and her signature sass, setting her apart in every room she entered. She was deeply passionate about life and embraced every moment with joy. A lover of the outdoors, she found peace and delight in walking in nature and cherished the beautiful hues of fall, which reflected her lively nature.

In her leisure hours, Mo found pleasure in playing solitaire and cards with family. She was also drawn to music and dancing, often attending local church festivals that brought her community together in joyous celebration and camaraderie. She was a lover of Halloween and animals.

Mo is lovingly survived by her daughters, Tina (Kurt) Waltenberger and Kelly (Frank) Mauro who were fortunate to have such a dynamic role model in their lives. She was a beloved grandmother to Meagan and Ethan Rosenlund and Katrina and William Waltenberger, whose lives she enriched with love and guidance. Additionally, she was a dear sister to Gail (Joe) Marshall. Her memory will also be cherished by her former spouse, Bruce Crueger, and her boyfriend, Selmer "Elmo" Kjos, who shared moments of laughter and love with her.

Maureen 'Mo' Crueger leaves behind a legacy of kindness and resilience, forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
