Nancy A. Balcerzak

Nancy A. Balcerzak (nee Seltzer), age 92, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. She was reunited with her beloved husband of 25 years, Raymond “Ray” Balcerzak. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Erma Seltzer (nee Schumacher). and nephew, Craig Sowinski.

Born on June 25, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI, Nancy lived a long and meaningful life marked by kindness, resilience, and a deep devotion to family. Over the years, she built a life rooted in hard work, integrity, and quiet strength-values that continue to live on through those who knew and loved her. Nancy had a way of making people feel cared for and valued, and her memory will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those she leaves behind.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her family, including her dear sister-in-law Mary Ann (the late Ernest) Sowinski; her late nephew, Craig Sowinski and nieces, Cynthia (Dean) Kennedy and Christine (Jerry) Zortman; her great nephews and niece, Dylan (Sarah) Kennedy, Ethan (Alyssa) Kennedy, Logan (Sara) Zortman, Clayton (Hannah) Zortman, and Abbey Zortman (Derrick); and by great-great nieces Emma Kennedy and Maya Kennedy, along with her cousins Fred (Ruth) Barzyk and Edward (Martha) Schumacher, and dear friend Debra Falk, along with many other extended family and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park in the Chapel of Flowers (in the main building located at 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield) on Friday, January 30 starting at 1PM until time of committal prayers at 2PM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy’s name would be appreciated to the charity of your choice.
