Nick E. Ioder was born on January 19, 1944 in Tiskilwa, IL. He passed away peacefully, April 7th, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Ioder (née Napientek) for 50 years. Nick was a devoted father to Christopher (Rebecca), Lisa (Chris) Nethery, Matthew (Carri), and Anne (Ibzan) Monteagudo. He was a proud grandfather to Eleanor, Katelyn, Abigail, Ian, Graham, Joshua, Jericho, Michael, Anna, Anthony, and Juliet. Nick is also survived by his dear sister Margaret (Bill) Wendle and was preceded in death by his sister Sue Ioder. He is further survived by his cousin Sandy Wallem, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

During his career, Nick sold construction equipment for Hyster, Nagle-Hart Caterpillar, and Aring Equipment before purchasing Lembezeder Sand and Gravel. After retirement, Nick was a stone-crushing consultant for Payne & Dolan.

Nick was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, Trinity Council 4580, Sacred Heart Assembly 3316, demonstrating his commitment to service and community. He had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing. In addition to his love for nature, Nick found great joy in riding his bicycle and was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Michele, as well as the nurses, aides, and all staff members at Tudor Oaks Senior Living. Your kindness, compassion, and attentive care provided to Nick during his time with you were deeply appreciated. Your support brought comfort to both Nick and his loved ones, and the family is truly thankful for your dedication and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, located at 7963 S 116th Street in Franklin, on Friday, May 8. The visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. After the Mass, interment will take place at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.

In honor of Nick, the family kindly requests that, instead of sending flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Martin of Tours Parish, the Xaverian Missionaries, or to a charity of your choice.
