Niles William Buchner

June 21, 1947 - September 4th 2026

Beloved husband of Barb Buchner. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rosemary (Redmerski) Buchner, his sister Sandy Kickland, and his brother Kris Buchner. Beloved brother of Jeff Frazier and Lynn Felle. Beloved father of Bowie Buchner and Eric Buchner. Beloved father-in-law of Jaclyn (Bissonette) Buchner. Beloved grandfather of Samantha, Alexandria, and Gabriella Buchner.

When he was a young man, Niles enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in service, he did two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his military service, he used the culinary degree he earned and worked in food service. Later in life, he found a career he truly loved, driving for Badger Coach Line.

When he wasn’t working, Niles enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to Brewers games, watching the Packers play, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the PTSD Foundation of America or Wounded Warrior Project.

Visitation will be held at Max A Sass & Sons Greenfield Chapel (4747 S 60th St., Greenfield, WI) on Friday, September 25th, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. A private interment will take place on a later date.
