Paola Alioto (née Cefalu) 

Paola was born to eternal life on June 28, 2026. Paola was born to life on July 5, 1940 in Porticello, Sicily and came to Milwaukee in 1958. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Alioto for 39 years. Devoted daughter to the late Matteo and Rosa Cefalu of Cudahy. 

Mother to Margherita (Andrew) Schroettner, Anthony, and Matteo. Proud Nonna to Andrew Schroettner, Claire (Mauricio) Almazan, Mary (David) Mottl, Nicholas Schroettner, Katherine (Cameron) Johnson, Matthew (Kathleen) Schroettner, Joseph Schroettner, David Schroettner, Michael Schroettner, and William Schroettner; and great-grandmother of 7. Sister of the late Maria (Natale) Saggio, the late Francesca (Pietro) Norante, Antonino (Karen) Cefalu, Vincenzo (Susan) Cefalu, Pietra Sanger, and Ted (Jill) Cefalu. 

Paola was a long-standing Third Order Franciscan and member of the Widows of Prayer. 

Visitation Thursday, July 2 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church (8500 W. Coldspring Road) followed immediately by Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Xaverian Missionary Fathers (xaverianmissionaries.org) are appreciated.
