It is with profound sorrow and deep reverence that we announce the passing of Patricia L. Drljaca, a remarkable woman whose life touched countless hearts. She was born on July 12, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she would cultivate a life rich in love, creativity, and compassion. Patricia departed this world on December 1, 2025, leaving behind an enduring legacy of kindness and nurturing that will forever resonate within the lives of those she cherished.
Patricia was a devoted homemaker, a loving wife, an exemplary mother, and a doting Nana. She was the proud daughter of Lucille and John Randa, and a beloved sister to her siblings, including her brother, Jim Randa, who would share in her laughter and joys. Patricia's love for family was boundless, exemplified by her cherished relationships with her children: Michele Bogner and her husband, Jayme Bogner; Peter Drljaca and his wife, Mary Drljaca; and Lisa Texeira and her husband, David Texeira. Each of her children held a special place in her heart, and it was through them that her greatest pride flourished — her grandchildren, Jayden, Carson, Eli, Ethan, Bryce, and Lukas, who were continually reminded, “I love you more than all the stars in the sky, all the fish in the sea, and all the grains of sand on the beach.”
Patricia was an epitome of grace and strength, a master baker known for her famed chiffon cakes, "Nana cookies" and signature lamb stew dish. Her culinary excellence extended beyond just baking; she spent countless hours in her yard, nurturing flowers, allowing her creativity to flourish in every aspect of her life. Patricia's home was always filled with the delightful aromas of her cooking, especially during the holidays when her family gathered, creating lasting memories steeped in warmth and joy.
Remarkably kind, welcoming, and selfless, Patricia was a good listener who always prioritized the needs of others above her own. She embodied the art of compassion and empathy, traits that endeared her to all who crossed her path. Her stylish demeanor and inner beauty only served to enhance the loving spirit she shared so generously with her family and friends.
As we reflect on her life, we remember Patricia as a perfectionist in all her endeavors, from the seams of her creative sewing projects to the flavors of her beloved recipes. Her life was a testimony to the power of strong faith and unwavering love, both attributes that buoyed her through life's trials and tribulations.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Valdimir Drljaca, whose presence she missed dearly. She was also welcomed into eternity by her beloved parents, Lucille and John Randa, and her brothers Peter and Jack, as well as beloved brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws.
In homage to the beauty of her life, loved ones will gather to pay their respects during visitation on December 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:15 PM at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Muskego, Wisconsin. A Mass will follow at 12:30 PM, culminating with a burial at Good Hope Cemetery in Greenfield, Wisconsin, where her spirit will find rest alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hunger Task Force https://www.hungertaskforce.org/food-for-families/
