Patricia M. Galaska, affectionately known as Pat, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born Patricia Kelly (Patsy) on February 16, 1938, she lived a life marked by kindness, gratitude, and an unwavering love for her family. Among the many blessings in her life, one of the greatest was a devoted and enduring marriage of 57 years to Robert (deceased). Time spent with family, shared meals, laughter, and the comfort of togetherness formed the cornerstone of her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Pam (Bob) Arnhold, Brian (Meg) Galaska, Nadine (Don) Teichen, and Vicki (Rob) Batura, and Kim (deceased), who honor her life with strength and love.

Pat's love of family continues through her grandchildren—Laura (Kriston), Ben (Amanda), Stephanie (Brian), Jill (Levi), Nick (Molly), Alyssa (Will), Samantha (Jack), Cassie (Marcus), Jacob (deceased), Jessica, Alex (Laura), Harley, Rebecca (Dylan), and Dakota—and her great-grandchildren, Elaina, Katy, Mia, Quintin, Gianna, Hayden, Wyatt, Jax, Ava, Sadie, Connor, Rory, Dante, Luke, and Riley. She also leaves behind numerous other family members including her sisters, Kathy (Mark) Larson, Joyce (Earl) Fulcer, their children, cousins and friends who were blessed by her presence.

Pat dedicated many years of her life to serving as a paraprofessional in the Special Education Department at Hamilton High School. Through her work, she touched countless lives with her prayers to St. Anthony, generosity and quiet strength, leaving a lasting impact on her students and colleagues alike.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, located at 3722 South 58th Street in Milwaukee. Mass will immediately follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor and celebrate Pat’s life.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Jen and Kacey from Allay Hospice for their compassionate care and support during her journey.

Known for her warm sense of humor and love of Hallmark movies, Pat brought joy and comfort to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to family, kindness and generosity. Those qualities endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her, and she will be profoundly missed.

The family of Patricia M. Galaska wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the love and support shown during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in honor of Pat's faith.
