Patricia K. Stawicki, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at the age of 88.
Patricia devoted an extraordinary 55 years of her life to serving the City of Milwaukee, working in the Mayor’s Office at City Hall. Throughout her remarkable career, she had the privilege of working under five Milwaukee mayors: Frank Zeidler, Henry Maier, John Norquist, Marvin Pratt, and Tom Barrett.
Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the City left a lasting impression. In recognition of her many years of service, a conference room at Milwaukee City Hall was named in her honor—a fitting tribute to a woman whose career became such an important part of the city’s history.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Stawicki; her mother, Bernice Kallas; her father, Edward Konkol; her sister, Lois Schumacher and her husband, Jack; her nieces Lynn Horch and Diane Giese; her brothers-in-law Edward, Leonard, George and Ralph; and her sister-in-law Dorothy.
She is survived by her brother, Bill (Kathleen) Konkol; her sister-in-law, Rita Pruski; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Patricia will be remembered for her dedication to her work, her loyalty to those she loved, and the many lives she touched throughout her long and meaningful life.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Oak Park Place and Legacy Hospice for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Patricia and her family.
Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave., Milwaukee, on Friday, August 28 from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice in memory of Pat are appreciated.
