Patricia Ann Kilbey, affectionately known as "Pat," passed away on September 16, 2025, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Born on August 23, 1930, in Wauwatosa, Patricia lived a life full of love, purpose, and artistic expression.

A dedicated educator, Pat taught at various schools in Milwaukee, ultimately finding her home at the highly regarded School of the Arts. Inspired by her passion for music and education, she shaped the lives of countless students, passing on her love for knowledge and creativity.

Patricia was a proud graduate of the Milwaukee Teachers College, where she honed her skills that would lead her to a fulfilling career. Her musical talents were legendary; she was not only a gifted cellist and pianist but also an exceptional singer. Music was an integral part of her life, leading her to perform as first chair in the All City Band at West Division High School and to sing in multiple choirs, including Hope Church, Wellington Park Church, Reformation Church, and Whitnall Park Church. Additionally, she cherished her involvement with Sweet Adelines, the Harmony Singers, and the Telephone Company Choir, where her vibrant spirit amplified the joy of music in her community.

Patricia enjoyed savoring life's adventures, often traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. Her boundless curiosity and zest for life made her a beacon of light to those around her.

Happily married for 75 years to her beloved husband, Warner F. Kilbey, Patricia is survived by her loving family: daughters Christine (Steve) Duecker and Susan (Dave) Ziegler, son Michael (Christina) Kilbey, grandson Nicholas (Katheryn) Held, granddaughter Tori Held,her great-grandsons, Zach and Luke Held, along with other family and friends who mourn her passing and celebrate her life.

She joins in eternal rest her cherished son, Thomas Ryan Kilbey; her son, Warner Kilbey III; her grandson, Joseph Held.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Stevenson and Thordis (nee Hansen) Stevenson.

Patricia's legacy of love, music, and teaching will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 1:00 PM at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel, located at 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI 53132. Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
