Patricia C. Mize (nee Koscielniak) passed away peacefully and was reunited with Richard, her beloved husband of 55 years. Loving mother of Tom (Cheryl) Mize and Susan (Patrick) Cabot. Cherished grandmother of Steven and Kevin Mize. Further survived by loving nieces and nephews, other relatives, dear friends, and her beloved neighbors on Oriole Lane in Greendale.
Pat was very proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Later in life, she discovered a love for word puzzles and puzzle books and became an avid Scrabble player. She especially enjoyed visiting her niece’s cottage in Eagle River, where she treasured time spent up north. Above all, Pat loved being with her children and grandchildren, who brought her great joy.
In June 1951, Pat began working as a secretary for Perfex Corporation and later held secretarial positions with other businesses throughout the Milwaukee area. In December 1981, she began her career as a radiology transcriptionist at West Allis Memorial Hospital. In April 2001, she transferred to St. Luke’s South Shore Hospital, where she continued working until her retirement in June 2004.
Pat’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff, nurses, and aides at Harbour Village and St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful care, kindness, and support they provided to our mother.
