Phyllis Norton (nee Greene) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 23, 2026, at the age of 92. She was the cherished wife and best friend of the late John Norton. She was a beloved and adored Nana to her grandchildren: Shaun, Gabrielle, Emily, Makayla, Samantha, Sabrina, Abby, Jake, Natalie, Keegan, Brendan, Aaron, Bridget, and Colin.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa and Timothy, and her siblings, John “JJ”, Maureen, Kathleen, and Michael. She is survived by her brother-in-law Tom (the late Arlene) and sister-in-law Patricia (Dave) Kerley. Phyllis also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, both locally and in Ireland.
Phyllis took immense pride in her Irish heritage, cherishing the traditions throughout her life. Her strong Catholic faith was a guiding light, shaping her values and the love she shared with those around her. Above all, her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours and shared special bonds. They were not just her family but her passion and delight, leaving memories that will be treasured forever.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, located at 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, on Monday, March 2nd from 9:30-1045AM with The Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Private interment.
