Randall E. Balistreri, affectionately known as Randy, passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on June 6, 1961, and lived a life characterized by humility and service to others. Randy was known for his incredible engineering mind; there was little he could not fix. His friends lovingly nicknamed him "Grilla," a moniker derived from his size, but those who knew him well understood that he was truly a gentle giant.
Randy’s life was full of joy through his passions and interests. He found immense happiness riding motorcycles, cherishing every moment spent with his grandkids, and caring for animals. These hobbies reflected his vibrant spirit and deep appreciation for the world around him. Randy was a proud southsider and an original "Greaser'.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila Balistreri since 1991, two son's: Steven and Shane, and his only daughter Niki (Walter). He was a proud "Papa" to eight grandson's: Frank, Michael, Steven, Alexander, Jayden, Silas, Christopher and Dominick, as well as a cherished granddaughter, Giavanna whom he referred to as 'my love". Randy had one great-grandson, Elio. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Nancy Balistreri, along with his brothers, Brad (Nancy) and Rory (Sheila), who carry forward his legacy of kindness and generosity. He will be deeply missed by his dog Parrley.
Randy's departure is felt profoundly, not only by his immediate family but also by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Balistreri, and his siblings, Vincent and Cindy, who will embrace him in eternal rest.
A Visitation in Randy's honor will take place on June 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Mission Hills Chapel located at 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI, 53132, starting at 7:00 PM.
As we all gather to remember Randy, we will reflect on a life well-lived, marked by love, laughter, and an enduring spirit of giving. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
