Raymond Baranowski

Baranowski, Raymond J. Longtime resident of Bay View passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. He was 83 years of age. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 30, 1930. He is survived by his loving wife Ellin (Nee Jost) of 57 years and proceeded in death by his brother Rev. Stanley B. Baranowski, his sister Constance and his parents Dr. Stanley and Eleanore (Nee Czakos) Baranowski. Raymond proudly served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a life member of the South Shore Yacht Club. He was also a graduate of Spencerian College, a member of the American Legion, Post 180 for 57 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society or to the Wisconsin Humane Society. Visitation will be in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the BASILICA of ST. JOSEPHAT (2333 S. 6th Street, Milwaukee). PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
