Raymond "Ray" L. Oleson, affectionately known as "Jack Pine," was born on May 1, 1961, and passed away on June 15, 2025. His legacy as a master cabinet maker and his skillful hands brought life to countless residential and business remodels, leaving an indelible mark on the community he served.
Ray was a lifelong outdoorsman, deeply passionate about hunting and fishing. He cherished spending time surrounded by nature, where he found joy and solace. In addition to his love for the outdoors, Ray cherished moments spent with friends and family, often gathering for social events and cookouts that fostered laughter and joy in the lives of those around him.
Ray leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Patricia A. Oleson (nee Jole), and their grandchildren, Austin, Heavyn, and Abigail. Adding to the family legacy is his great-grandchild, Maverick. Also mourning his loss are his siblings, including Bryan (Ravae) Oleson, Debbie (Nicholas) Nesta, Vicki (Pete) Landowski, and his stepsisters, Collette Perez and Diana Perez. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, James Dickens, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Jennifer Oleson, and son, Michael Lee Redhail, whose absence will be deeply felt. He was also saddened by the passing of his sister, Renee Dickens.
In honor of Ray's spirit and dedication to his craft, a celebration of life is being planned for later in July or August. Family and friends are encouraged to check back for details on this gathering that will reflect the joyful life he led and the cherished memories he created with those he loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to support U.S. Army service members through Army Emergency Relief.
Raymond L. Oleson's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends.
