She also served as an Army Support Group Leader, offering encouragement and support to others and helping build connection among military families. In every part of her life, she brought warmth, dedication, and a caring heart.

Above all, Renate cherished her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bryan; her daughters, Michelle Bronell and her husband Andrew, and Kimberly Castellani and her husband Brian; and her son, Bryan “Todd” Kwasniewski and his wife Kyoung Hee. She also leaves behind her granddaughters, Katelyn McLamara and her husband Bryan, Brianna Hosier and her husband Ryan, and Samantha Tucker and her husband Hunter. She is further survived by her sisters, Monika Zueg and Isabella Schneider and husband Alfred; her cousin, Josef Wohrlein in Germany; and her sister-in-law, Dawn Weber and her husband Robert; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Kwasniewski and Kevin Kwasniewski. She is further survived by her cousin Del, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Renate’s love for her family was a guiding force in her life, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
