Richard C Fuller

Fuller Richard C. "Dick" Passed away January 5, 2014 at the Age of 91. Born July 30, 1922 in Port Huron, Michigan the second of five sons to Harold and Beulah (Nee Cadwell) Fuller. Devoted husband of Shirley (nee Knauer) for 63 years. Loving father of Douglas (Martha Lancaster) and Laurel. Proud grandpa of Dr. Matthew (Dana) Greulich and Megan(Dan Meccariello)Greulich. Preceded in death by an infant son and three brothers. Memorial gathering at Max Sass Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, Thursday, January 9, 4-6pm, Memorial service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to VITAS Hospice. http://www.vitas.com/community/Donate.aspx Richard proudly served his country in the US Navy in the South Pacific in WWII, where he was aboard a ship attacked at Midway Island on Dec. 7, 1941. He also served aboard a destroyer in the Korean War. He was employed by Wisconsin Bell Telephone for 34 years. He was very handy and could do almost any type of home repair. Dick loved to spend time visiting family and his summer cottage at an ancestral Northern Michigan Homestead and traveled extensively in his retirement years. Max A.
