Richard J. Madecky Sr. “Dick”
Reunited with his loving wife and best friend Alexandria “Sandie” (nee Danielewski) on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Best dad in the world to Deborah Calloway, Wendie (Dave) Kelley, Richard (Jasna Djukic) Madecky, Beth Madecky and Anthony Garrett. Precious grandpa of Corissa (Cordell) Smith, Melissa (Ryan) Peterson, Quinten Calloway, Alexandra (Goran Zagorac) Calloway, Antonio Madecky and Serena Weber. Proud "TaTa" of Ryker, Reese and Emilijan. Brother-in-law of the late Alexander (Josie) Danielewski, Craig (Cindy) Danielewski and the late John Danielewski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Helen Madecky and his sister June.
Dick worked for PPG for 48 years before retiring. He enjoyed trap shooting, golf and spending time Up North, particularly in Rock Dam, WI. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd., on Saturday, December 27 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
