Richard R. Marx

Marx, Richard R. "Beaner" Age 81, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013. He was surrounded by family. Loving husband of 61 years to Arlene (Nee Koceja). Proud and loving father of Laura Marx (Rick Thrun), Diane Marx, Susie (Bob) Boen and Kim (Darryl) Shelton. Dear Grandpa to Bobby (Angel), Sarah (Kevin), Erica (Mark), Cassidy (Evan) and Samantha. Dear "G.G." to Haley, Michael, Poppy, Lincoln and Benson. Further survived by other relatives, friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by his sister Audrey Zernov. Beaner was employed for over 31 years with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He was an avid hunter and trap shooter and enjoyed spending time in his backyard with friends and neighbors over a can of Miller Lite. He also spent many good times tailgating at Brewer's games. Visitation in the Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 3 to 6 PM. Funeral service to follow at 6 PM. Private interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family sends a special thank you to the staff at Howard Village and the ICU staff at St. Francis Hospital.
