Robert "Bobby" Leonard Ciezki

Ciezki, Robert Leonard (Bobby) peacefully joined his Mom and Dad, Leonard and Jean Ciezki, in heaven on October 20, 2025. Robert was born April 28, 1949, their second child and only son. He was and remains the family saint and angel.

At age three, Bobby was diagnosed with an intellectual developmental disability and later with autism.. Through all his 76 years, he has overcome his health challenges. He was full of a lot of energy, was feisty, and always had a sparkle in his eye. He had a great left swing, which was his “love pat”. With his winning personality, Bobby earned many fans among his caregivers over the years. His life since age 5 at Southern Wisconsin Center was filled with music and art activities, bubble baths, and tram rides, which he loved, and the love and very attentive and compassionate care of the staff. Our nightly singing calls to him brought him to smiles and sometimes out loud shouts. His favorite song that he sometimes hummed along with was Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You”. While Bobby was in hospice, he had many SWC visitors who loved and missed him. We thank all the caregivers in Cottage 18 who cared for Bobby in hospice around the clock. We are forever grateful to all Bobby’s daily caregivers over the years and to the doctors and nurses, dieticians, and activity staff who ensured his health, comfort, and happiness.

Bobby, our beloved brother and uncle and our sunshine, will be deeply missed by his sisters, Eileen and Janice, and his niece, Amanda Rose. The Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be on Friday, November 7, from 1-4 pm with service at 4 pm at Max A. Sass & Sons 4747S. 60th St Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the Autism Society of Wisconsin or the charity of your choice.
