Robert H. Braunreiter, known affectionately as Bob, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on June 25, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bob lived a life filled with dedication, love, and adventure. For over 50 years, he served as an award-winning salesman at Brenntag, formerly TAB Chemicals, showcasing an unmatched work ethic that saw him continuing to contribute to his profession until the remarkable age of 83.
Bob was celebrated not just for his professional commitment but also for the vibrant personality that drew people to him. His peers often remarked that he was the epitome of cool, a reputation he upheld through his kindness, sense of adventure, and unmistakable style, often characterized by his great hair and beloved cowboy boots.
A man of many passions, Bob was a skydiver and a lifetime member of the Sky Knights Parachute Club, sharing the joy of freefalling with all who dared to join him. His adventurous spirit extended to the slopes, where he enjoyed downhill skiing and imparted his skills as an instructor at various local ski hills, delighting in the exhilaration of the sport. Yet, amidst all his accomplishments and adventures, Bob's proudest achievements were his grandchildren. Shelby, Cassidy, and Tessa were the lights of his life; he lavished them with love and attention, embodying the role of a grandpa with warmth and joy.
Bob is survived by his beloved daughters, Lisa Braunreiter and Laura (Andrew) Fish, as well as his dear sisters, Diane Mattsen and Karen (Dennis) Robinson. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and cherished by many nieces and nephews who were graced by his influence and affection throughout their lives.
He will reunite with his wife of 65 wonderful years, Nancy Braunreiter, in eternal rest. Their love story was one of patience and unwavering support, a bond that truly illustrated the beauty of a life well-lived together.
A graveside service will be held at Good Hope Cemetery in Greenfield, WI, on January 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM. He leaves behind a legacy built on love, kindness, and a zest for life that continues to inspire all who knew him.
