Robert A. Good, beloved father and cherished member of the Greenfield community, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, in Greendale, Wisconsin. He was born on October 23, 1934, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and over the course of ninety-one years, Robert’s life touched countless individuals with his unwavering kindness, his fun loving nature, and faithful devotion to his family.

Robert was the devoted husband of the late Bonnie Good, with whom he shared nearly 40 cherished years with. Their union was blessed with a large and loving family. He is lovingly survived by his children Tammy (the late Tom) Nofsinger, Jeff (Angela) Good, Scott (Cathryn) Good, Allen (Robin) Good,  Marla (Christopher Anick) Cherti, and Steven Good, who continues to honor their father’s legacy of dignity, hard work, and compassion. Robert’s goofy spirit and guidance shaped and inspired those closest to him. His legacy continues to live on through his grandchildren, Hannah (Dan) Schneider, Curtis Cherti, Emily Cherti, Issac Noffsinger, Monica (Brandon) Kamin, Kailey (Nick) Burt, Zach (Rylie) Good, Gabby Good, Ryan Good, Dylan (Chloe) Good, Sebastian Good, and Henry Good, as well as his great-grandchildren, Ryder Cherti and Skylar Burt. Beloved brother of Don (Gerrie) Good. 

Born in Pennsylvania, Robert's journey through life was marked by resilience and grace. His move to Wisconsin signified the beginning of new chapters, each filled with its own set of experiences and accomplishments. He embraced Wisconsin traditions going for Friday night fish fry's, rooting for all Wisconsin sports teams, bingo,  playing cribbage and sheepshead.

Robert proudly served in the Untied States Marine Corps during the Korean War. 

He was passionate about softball and was dedicated to umpiring the game. He spent over 55 years umpiring and was recognized by numerous hall of fames and organizations for his life long achievements. He created lifelong friendships with players, umpires and couches alike. 

Family and friends are invited to gather in memory of Robert on August 29, 2026. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Mission Hills Chapel, located at 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI 53132. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Good Hope Cemetery, 4101 South 43rd Street, Greenfield, WI 53220, with the burial commencing at 2:30 p.m.

Robert A. Good will be remembered for his steadfast presence and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the example he set for all who knew him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Bonnie, and may his family and friends find comfort in the lasting impact of his remarkable life.
