Robert T. Bautch

Bautch, Robert T. Born August 22, 1940. Found eternal rest on Jan 15, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Survived by wife, Randi, sons, Alan (Lori), Shane (Tiffany), Bob (Cindy), daughter Kim (Bautch) Trainor, stepdaughters Ann (Paul) Flannery and Kristen (Joel) Burg. Grandchildren Erica, Luke, Andrea, Chloe, Tia, Jaxson, Kaylan, Sydney, Madison and Maya. He is also survived by 2 brothers William and Ron (Susan) and nieces and nephews Chad, Brent, Jacob, Rebecca, Marisa, Cara, Kelsey, Gunnar and Tyson and best friend Greg Wuerger. He was preceded in death by a son Rick, and his parents Emil and Mary. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was awarded the Knight of the Year for 2013, Campanile Society of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church serving as an usher, and past board member of the Parish Council. President and founder of Bautch and Sons Painting Contractors where he recently retired after 50 years. Hobbies included a small horse farm (R&R Ranch) where he was able to raise pumpkins and grow apples for a fundraiser each year for his church demonstrating his commitment to stewardship. He was dearly loved by many who especially enjoyed his great sense of humor and his giving and kind nature. He prided himself in being a hard worker and his commitment to his faith. The family wishes to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Hospice and the special staff at the Greenwald Center. Visitation will be in the Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 4 to 7:30 PM. A rosary will be held at 7:30. Additional visitation in ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH (S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue, Big Bend, WI) on Monday, January 20 from 9 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will be in Holy Apostles Cemetery, New Berlin. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Big Bend or the charity of your choice.
