Roberto U. Castillo, 76, was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on July 29, 1937. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Hortencia Briseno, his daughter Lourdes "LuLu" (Fred) Garcia, his sons Robert "Bobby" (Camille) Castillo and Alfredo (Freddy) Castillo, his brother Pedro (Gloria) Castillo, his sister Lourdes (Jim) Castillo, 4 grandchildren, Robert, Veronica, Gabriela, Nicolas, 2 nephews, 5 nieces, and other relatives. He was a very loving father. Roberto's daughter Rita Castillo preceded him in death. Roberto worked and retired from Gebhardt and Vogel Tanning Co. He was very active in the Hispanic community. He especially enjoyed volunteering countless hours for Fiesta Mexicana/Wisconsin Hispanic Foundation for 40 years. He also loved spending time with his family. Visitation on Monday, August 12 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 723 W. Washington St., from 9 - 11:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Procession to follow to Forest Home Cemetery. Directly after a luncheon will be held at 818 S. Water St. at Hot Water/Wharehouse. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship foundation.
