Robin Theresa Susnik

Robin Theresa Susnik, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away on February 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and friendship that touched everyone she knew. Born on March 3, 1946, Robin's life was a tapestry of close-knit family ties, enduring friendships, and a career that spanned nearly four decades. 

Robin's journey began as a proud graduate of South Division's class of 1964. Her intelligence and work ethic led her to a fulfilling career at Allen-Bradley, where she dedicated 39 years before retiring in 2002. Her colleagues remember her as not just a co-worker, but a dear friend who brought joy and kindness to the workplace every day.

Married to her beloved husband, Gerald Susnik, for nearly 60 years, Robin's commitment to her family was the cornerstone of her life. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love, welcoming their children, Bryan Susnik and Shannon (Andrew) Wakeman. Robin's role as a mother was one she cherished deeply, instilling in her children the values of compassion and creativity. Robin's love story continued with the birth of her grandchildren, Ella, Aubrie, Brayden, and Ryder. She embraced her role as a grandmother with open arms.

Robin's travels, another of her passions, enriched her life with experiences and memories that she would fondly recount to her many friends and family members upon her return. Whether exploring new places or enjoying the comforts of home, Robin's zest for life was contagious. 

A survivor of breast cancer, Robin's resilience and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her. She faced life's challenges with grace and courage, always emerging with a renewed appreciation for the beauty of life and the people in it. 

Robin's presence could brighten any room, her loving and friendly nature drawing people to her. Her creativity was not limited to her hobbies but was evident in the way she approached life, always finding unique ways to show her love and care. 

As we say goodbye to Robin Theresa Susnik, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart generously given, and a spirit that will continue to inspire. She is further survived by other relatives and countless friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth. Robin's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the many lives she enriched with her presence. Her legacy of love, friendship, and creativity will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
