Found peace on August 4, 2020, at age 72. Visitation on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Max Sass Funeral Home, 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI 53220, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Services will be private for family. Much loved husband of Karen for 47 years. Cherished son of Eva Abbott. Survived by sisters Nancy Klafke, Valerie Nash, Mary Barr, and brothers Douglas (Sandi), Thomas (Susan), David (Chris), Curtis, and William. Further survived by many loved nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Preceded in death by his father, Arlen, and brother, Jeffrey. Ron loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and took pride in his landscaping projects. Each year for 35 years, he looked forward to hosting a Fourth of July picnic that was a fun day, full of special memories for everyone who was there. He was an avid cribbage player and always had a story to tell. Most of all, he was a good friend with a sense of humor and a kind soul. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Heart Association.
