Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Ronald Wrycza, 85, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026.

Born on July 27, 1940, Ron lived a full and active life centered around family, friendship, and adventure. He was a devoted husband of 57 years to his beloved late wife, Gloria, and a proud father to June (David) Klein, Betty (Thomas) Zainer, and Peggy (Donald) Luckow.

Ron was a retired USPS Special Delivery mail carrier who spent many years serving his community with dedication and pride. Even in retirement, he rarely slowed down. Ron always had a schedule full of plans, places to go, and people to see. Whether he was heading out on a day drive, plotting his next fishing spot, attending Moose Lodge or WOW group events, or simply gathering with family and friends, he embraced life with enthusiasm and energy.

He was well known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and legendary Sheepshead card-playing skills. Ron never missed an opportunity for a good laugh, a friendly competition, or a chance to spend time with those he knew.

Above all, Ron's greatest joy was his family. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Sarah (Josh) Sikorski, Cheryl Klein, Alison (Stephen) Tersen, and Andrew (Ashley) Zainer, and a loving great-grandfather to Luke, Aaron, Addison, and Annie. Whether at a sporting event, school program, recital, or any special occasion, Ron could always be found in the stands, on the sidelines, or in the audience, cheering on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their accomplishments brought him immense pride, and his unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew him.

Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, dedication, and countless cherished memories. His adventurous spirit, warm heart, and devotion to family will continue to live on in those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

A visitation will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 10, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Private entombment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ron's great-grandchildren are appreciated. Those wishing to make a donation may do so by making checks payable to June Klein.

May Ron’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
