Rose T. Dudzik, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on May 7, 1928, the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Zalewski) Plewa. She attended Pulaski High School and carried with her the lessons and friendships of those early years into adulthood. She married Jerome Dudzik, and together they shared 61 devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2010.

Rose spent her working years as an Administrative Assistant before her retirement, where she was known for her dependability, her calm presence, and the expertise she brought to her responsibilities. Those who knew Rose will remember her as a social butterfly who genuinely enjoyed the company of others. She had a natural gift for making people feel welcome and at ease, and her presence brought light to gatherings both large and small. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and taking in the fresh air and sunshine, music was a comfort and pleasure to her, and she preferred listening to music rather than the television. She also enjoyed drawing and painting, shopping, trying new food, a vodka martini, and embracing new experiences.

Family was the heart of Rose’s life, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. She is survived by her children, Mark (Jennifer), Tom, John (Diane), and Julie (Arto), her beloved grandchildren Nathan, Kara, Courtenay (Matt), Jacob (Kimberly), and Jeffrey, as well as her great-grandchildren Reese, Calvin, Jace, and Myles, daughter-in-law Lynn, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerome as well as her son Joe.
