Rosemary Ceretto, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 13, 1945, in Milwaukee, WI, Rosemary's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew her.

A proud graduate of St Joan Antida High School, class of 1962. After high school, Rosemary married her first husband, Larry, and had their two children, Kim and Steven. Rosemary enjoyed her many years working as a beautician. Later in lif,e she met and married the love of her life, the late Joseph Ceretto Jr., and together they created a legacy of love through their children: Kim (Ron) Peplinski, Steven (Tanya) Kozelek, Laura (Steve) Kurutz, Nancy (Jim) Bonney, Joseph Ceretto, Paul Ceretto, and Mike (Sharon) Ceretto. Rosemary's family was her pride and joy, a sentiment that was deeply reciprocated by her beloved grandchildren: Jason (Bobbi) Peplinski, Amber (Alex) Rice, Brett Peplinski, Alexandria Kurutz, Andrew (Hannah) Kurutz, Jack Bonney, and Joel Bonney.

Her love extended to her extended family, which included cherished great-grandchildren Kory, Chase, Alexis, Syrus, Sophia, and Alexander "AJ," Rosemary's siblings, Greg (Cindy) Sawatzke, and the late Georgiana (the late Richard) Jahnke, and numerous nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember her for her warmth and generosity.

A woman of many talents and interests, Rosemary's zest for life was evident in her love for gambling and the thrill of the casino. She enjoyed retreats up north to their cabin. A dedicated sports fan, she cheered on the Milwaukee Braves and the Brewers, with her favorite players being Yelich and Hader.

Rosemary's love for dancing was legendary, and she could often be found twirling on the dance floor, her smile as bright as the music was lively. Her role as a den mother was taken to heart, and she never missed an opportunity to help others, especially when it involved her children's activities. Her skill as a bowler was matched only by her precision in shooting.

An artist in her own right, Rosemary baked and decorated cakes that were as delicious as they were beautiful. Her homemade costumes enchanted and delighted, showcasing her creativity and attention to detail. Above all, Rosemary's love for her family was her greatest masterpiece, and the time she spent with them was her most cherished treasure.

Rosemary Ceretto's legacy is one of kindness, friendliness, and boundless creativity. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her loving spirit. Her life was a testament to the power of love, the joy of family, and the beauty of a life well-lived. As we say goodbye to this extraordinary woman, we take comfort in knowing that her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved.

Rosemary’s faith was very important to her, and she was called home on Ash Wednesday.

A special thanks to Creekside Terrace, Hickory Park, Hales Corners Care Center, and preceptor Hospice for all care and support.
