Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Rosita M. Talavera was born on July 18, 1952, and was reunited with her beloved son, Tony, on October 22, 2026. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her beloved family, who meant everything to her.

Rosita was the beloved wife of 54 years to Jose “Louie” Talavera and a loving mother to the late Tony (Laura) Talavera, Lisa (Richie) Campos, and Christina (Matthew) Austen. She was a cherished Grandma and Wela to Katarina (Victor) Hernandez, Isabella Campos, Samantha Talavera, Lucas Talavera, Alejandro Austen, and Adriana Austen. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and her world truly revolved around her family. The love she shared with them was at the heart of who she was, creating memories that will forever be treasured.

Dear daughter of the late Celia and the late Marcelino Molla Sr., loving sister of the late Mary (the late Donald) Spiel, the late Marcelino (Pamela) Molla Jr., Angelita (the late Frederick) Green, Roberto Molla, Maurisio (Clotilda) Molla, and Augustine (Joy) Molla.

Rosita enjoyed playing slots and the excitement it brought her, but above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.

She is further survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Rosita leaves behind a legacy of love and family devotion that will continue through the generations she cherished so dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home – South Shore Chapel, 1314 Manitoba Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 8:00 PM.

Procession: Thursday, October 29, 2026, departing the funeral home promptly at 11:30 AM for a graveside service at Forest Hill Memorial Park at noon.

Rosita will be forever loved, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
