Ryan William Rouse

Ryan Rouse passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 49, following a tragic motorcycle accident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his loving mother, Janet Lynn (Harker) Rouse of Greenfield, Wisconsin, and his sister, Kristin Lynn Rouse of Seward, Alaska. Ryan was predeceased by his father, Richard William Rouse, of Boulder Junction and Waterford, Wisconsin. Ryan dedicated over three decades to a career in metal fabrication and welding. His exceptional craftsmanship was not only a testament to his intelligence and handiwork but also contributed to the community’s pride – the welding of large segments of the retractable roof of Miller Park Stadium bears witness to his skill. Ryan's artistic talents extended beyond the industrial, as he also crafted unique art pieces for clients, deftly maneuvering through the most challenging mediums with the ease that only a master could possess. Ryan's zest for life was evident in his passion for Wisconsin sports. Whether it was water skiing, barefooting, or snowmobiling, his athletic prowess was a natural extension of his adventurous spirit. Ryan was an avid golfer for the last 30 years of his life, never passing up a tee time on a beautiful day. Aside from outdoor sports, Ryan was most known for slaying on the pool table. He began playing pool as a teen in the north woods, and very quickly, his talent was undeniable, often surpassing the skills of seasoned players, proving that age was no barrier to his competitive nature.
Ryan’s humorous and fun-loving personality left a lasting impact on all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly.
A memorial gathering to share stories and celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on Saturday, 16 August, beginning at 1 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home in Greenfield, WI. A service will then begin at 2 pm; following the servic,e the family has arranged for an informal gathering at one of Ryan’s favorite spots – Fox’s Pub, located at 4395 S. 76th Street, Greenfield, WI, to share food, drinks, stories, “pull tabs”, and pool games in his honor.
