Listen to Obituary

Sandra Lee Reed (Metoxen) passed away on October 14, 2026, in West Allis, Wisconsin. She was born on July 13, 1947, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Sandra was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She was married for 61 years, a lasting testament to the love and commitment she shared with her husband, Robert Reed. Her home and family were at the center of her life, and she was especially proud to have raised three of her grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought to everyday life, including her famously delicious potato salad, which became a cherished family memory.

She also found joy in the things she loved most. Sandra loved the casino life, enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley, and was a longtime parishioner of St. James Church in Milwaukee. Her faith, her family, and the simple pleasures that made her smile were all woven into a life that touched many.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Reed; her children, Eugenia Reed Hernandez, Rahnee Reed, Roberta Reed, Vincent (Scharlene) Reed , and Robert Reed Jr. She also leaves behind her ten grandchildren, TiKal Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, Hector Miranda Jr., Mariah (Alexander) Wynos , Sheniah Reed, Shiloh Reed, Dasan Reed, Savannah Warren, and Cheyenne Reed. Her family was further blessed by 12 great-grandchildren, each a continuing part of the legacy she built with love and care.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Metoxen, and by her grandparents, Lorena Metoxen and Gilbert Metoxen.

Visitation will be held on October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin 53220. A funeral service will follow there at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place afterward at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 4775 South 60th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin 53220, beginning at 1:45 p.m. Memorial contributions in Sandra's name can be made to the American Cancer Society
