It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Mary Stefaniak, a cherished wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, who left us on January 24, 2026, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 24, 1979, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sarah brought joy and light into the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sarah's infectious smile and enthusiastic spirit made her a beloved presence in her community and within her family. A proud graduate of Pius XI High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Sarah's passion for education extended beyond her own studies. She dedicated time to teaching English as a Second Language online and generously volunteered at SEA Literacy in Milwaukee, embodying her commitment to uplifting others.
Her professional journey led her to Hexagon Investments, where she not only excelled in her career but also built lasting relationships with those around her. Sarah was deeply committed to her faith and served proudly as a Deacon at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, where she found a sense of purpose and community.
As a devoted wife to her husband Jeff Lindert for 17 wonderful years, Sarah embraced her role as a loving mom to their daughter Keeley. Their home was filled with laughter, love, and countless memories, from exhilarating road trips with their family dogs, Georgia and Niles, to attending her daughter’s dance competitions. She had a passion for NCAA basketball and a keen interest in fashion, all of which were just a few facets of her vibrant personality.
Sarah had a profound love for literature, particularly the works of Jane Austen. Her passion for life was truly inspirational, and it was matched only by her compassion for others. She made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Lindert; their precious daughter, Keeley; her devoted mother, Ann Stefaniak; and her cherished siblings: Tracy (Todd) Borgardt, Peter (Chris) Stefaniak, Mike (Shelley) Stefaniak, and Jenny (Peter) Pham. Sarah will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends who will continue to hold her memory close to their hearts.
Sarah was reunited in Heaven with her loving dad Gene Stefaniak.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, with special thanks to her ICU nurses, Chloe, Kirk, and Amber, for their exceptional care during Sarah's final hours.
