Scott A. Muehl, fondly called Scoots, aged 57, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. Born on August 23, 1967, Scott's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him. He is survived by a loving family who cherished every moment spent with him.
Scott's journey through life was one of passion and adventure. He was a devoted husband to his wife Sarah Muehl, with whom he shared three years of marriage and a beautiful partnership that spanned over a decade. Scott was the cherished son of Linda (Frank Farley) Kilburg and was lovingly supported by his siblings, Kim Raab, Kevin (Stacia) Kilburg, David (Heidi) Kilburg, and Marc Kilburg. His life was further enriched by the joyous presence of his nephews Logan Raab, Jacob Kilburg, and Jaxson Kilburg, and his niece Renee Thompson, along with two great-nephews and one great-niece. His in-laws, Scott (Darla) Sekeres, Nancy (Duey Weimann) Sekeres, and Lonny (Krystin) Sekeres, as well as his nieces and nephews Aria, Alli, and Anderson, will fondly remember Scott's loving nature. Predeceased by his father, James F. Muehl, and stepfather David E. Kilburg, Scott will now join them in eternal peace.
A proud graduate of Mukwonago High School, class of 1985, Scott's work ethic and amiable personality were evident early on. He found joy and camaraderie at the Blue Heron in Big Bend, where he considered his colleagues a second family. Scott's professional journey continued at Spectrum Engineering, where he has excelled as a Resource Manager since 1999. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to those he worked with.
Scott's interests were as diverse and vibrant as his personality. An avid sports fan, he fervently supported the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, embodying the spirit of the local sports community. His love for golfing, snowmobiling, and extreme sports showcased his adventurous side, while his quieter moments were spent making model cars or strumming the guitar. Music was a constant in Scott's life, and his collection of vinyl records was a testament to his taste and love for the craft.
Those who knew Scott will remember his distinct laugh—a sound and smile that could light up a room and will be dearly missed. He lived life to the fullest, embracing each new day with enthusiasm and an open heart. His adventurous soul led him to explore life's offerings with zeal, while his passion and love for his family and friends were the guiding forces of his existence.
The words that best describe Scott are adventurous, passionate, and loving. He approached every challenge with courage and every celebration with warmth. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the indomitable spirit with which he lived his life.
Scott's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to Scott A. Muehl, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared and the memories we created together. His spirit will forever be a beacon of joy and love in the lives he touched.
The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Matthew Deluhery, MD, and the rest of the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room department, as well as the town of Vernon EMTs, for their thoughtfulness and care of Scott.
