Shelene Harrington (nee Bierowski), passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends after a courageous 10-year battle against cancer at the age of 61. Shelene is the beloved wife of Jeffrey “Jeff” Harrington for 33 years. Most cherished dog mom of Baby Dog and Waddles.
She was the loving daughter of the late Joan (Eddie) Sabaski and the late Norman Bierowski. She is survived by her Step Mom Sharon Bierowski, her sisters Norlene (Brian) Fischer and Kimberly Verhein and her brothers Todd (Blake) and William Bierowski. Sister-in-law of Patrick Harrington, Michael (Sue) Harrington, and Colleen (Rick) St. Antoine. Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews who were all very special to her. Devoted daughter-in-law of the late William "Pops" and Marlene Harrington as well as her sister-in-law Margaret.
Shelene was best known as “Auntie” to all of their friends' children and would do anything for them at any time. She loved her family and friends and was the heart stone of the group, she was a care giver. She stepped in to help anyone without question, with a shoulder to cry on, help through illness/surgery, or to even help ease others into their passing. She would tell you what you needed to hear, not necessarily what you wanted, out of love and respect for you.
She so enjoyed making flower arrangements for family and friends as well as making shirts and such with her cricut for all to wear to concerts and events.
Shelene and Jeff met at the restaurant and bar called The B&B, they dated for many years and were married on August 31, 1991. She passed just 6 days shy of their 34th wedding anniversary. They were well known for their New Years Eve as well as their Labor Day party’s where many a good time was had by all.
She loved her time working as an Executive Assistant at Assurant, Aurora St Lukes Medical Center and most recently at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
