Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Shirley T. Grochocki (nee Wolff) was reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Grochocki, Sr., with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage, on October 4, 2026, at the age of 92. Loving mother of Chris (Chuck) Kennedy, Cheryl (Don) Hill, and Paul (Sue) Grochocki, Jr. Proud and cherished grandmother of Steven (Taylor), Scott (Hannah), and Sean Kennedy; Brandon Hill and Lauren (Miguel) Lunar; and PJ (Sarah) and Adam (Virginia) Grochocki. Adoring great-grandmother of Connor and Izzy Kennedy and Henry J. Grochocki. Dear sister of Nancy (Glen) Beck. Preceded in death by her brothers, Gene (the late Irene) Wolff and Don (the late Eunice) Wolff. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Shirley found joy in traveling, playing Bingo, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She especially treasured the time she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories they will carry with them always. Her love, warmth, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The family wishes to sincerely thank everyone who spent time with Shirley and brought comfort and companionship to her life.

A memorial gathering will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin) on Saturday, October 31st, from 9:30–10:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
