Shirley A. Mackey, nee Imse, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife, faithful partner, and loving helpmate of Allen Mackey, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage and life together. Shirley was the loving mother of Richard Mackey and Lynn Dederich. She was the dearest sister of LaVerne (the late Alan) Johnson; cherished aunt of Ronald Johnson and David (Polly) Johnson; and great-aunt of Mandy (John) David, Alissa (Brent) Christianson, and Benjamin (Bridgette) Johnson. She was also a loving great-great-aunt of Emmett, Eleanor, Eames, and Lucy. Dear cousin of Lorraine Buska. Shirley was the best friend of Dawn Jacobus and is further survived by other relatives and dear friends.

Shirley had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and a special love for animals. She found joy in the simple things in life and cherished the quiet, everyday moments that brought happiness. Above all, Shirley loved her family and treasured the time they shared together. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, located in the main building, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, on Monday, September 21, beginning at 2:00 PM, until the time of service at 3:30 PM.
