Gwiazdowski, Stanley T. Lt. Col., US Army, Retired Sgt., Milwaukee Police Dept., Retired "Sarge Starr" Went home to Heaven on Tuesday, August 19, 2015 at the age of 95. Preceded in death by his Darlin' Rosie (nee Kalinowski) and his son Michael. Loving father of Christine, Margaret (Frank) Pfaff, Raymond (Barb), Mary Beth (Rod) McClellan, Thomas (Carol) and Laura Jean. Devoted grandpa of Amber (Rob), Jerzy, Toby (Angela), Jordan, Krista, Lynn (Devin), Rebecca (Jason), Robert, Andrew (Lori), Stephanie (Andrew), Matthew and Kaitlyn. Proud great-grandpa of Graeham, Sofia, Elena, Emelia, Kayla, Logan, Violet, Alexis, Hannah, James, Jazmin, Joshua and Ryan. Caring brother of the late Helen, Alice and Irene (Ted). Brother-in-law of Lucy (the late Don), the late Sarah, Ralph (Agnes) and Tony. Dear Bingo Buddy of Pat Kusnierek. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Stanley proudly served as a member and officer in many community organizations. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Tuesday, August 25 from 4-7 pm. Vigil Service at 7 pm. Further visitation at St. John Paul II Parish St. John Kanty Church, 966 W. Dakota Ave., on Wednesday from 9:45 am - 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
