Stephen D. Lemay

Stephen David Lemay, known affectionately as Stevie by all who loved him, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the age of 34. Born on April 24, 1991, Stevie's exuberant spirit and infectious smile blessed this world for far too short a time. A loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend, his legacy is one of joy, generosity, and an unwavering zest for life.

Stevie spent his career working alongside his father at E & R Heating and Cooling, where he not only honed his skills but also forged lasting friendships. A man of many passions, Stevie found his greatest joy in the roar of engines. His love for cars, anything with a motor and wheels, was more than a hobby—it was a calling. Whether he was racing stock cars, riding motorcycles, or simply tinkering in the garage, Stevie was in his element. His boyish charm and relentless enthusiasm were magnetic, drawing others to share in the excitement of his pursuits.

Above all, Stevie was a loving father to his three beautiful children, Emma, Jaxon, and Leelah. His role as a father was the one he cherished most deeply. Stevie's family was the cornerstone of his world. He leaves behind a loving family: his mother, April (Al), his father, Eddie Jr. (Deanne), his siblings, Eddie III, Shawna (Brian), Ashley (Paul), and James (Ashley), his cherished grandmothers Joyce and Jean, and his grandfather Ed. His extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, together with numerous friends, will forever hold Stevie in their hearts.

Those who knew Stevie will remember him as a generous soul, always ready to lend a hand or share his gifts with others. His friendliness and laughter were genuine, and he had the unique ability to make everyone feel like the most important person in the room. Stevie was the life of the party, not only for his humor and charm but because he truly cared about bringing happiness to others.

Visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL (4747 S. 60th Street., Greenfield, WI) on Monday September 8, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until the service at 2:00 PM. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to Stephen’s family.
