Susan Jane Firchow, age 89, of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, passed away on August 23, 2025. Born on December 26, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Susan lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family and community.
Susan began her professional journey at Allen Bradley before becoming a devoted stay-at-home mom. Later on, she transitioned to working at Vilter Manufacturing, where she continued to showcase her strong work ethic. Her educational foundation was laid at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, where she gained valuable knowledge that served her throughout life.
A proud member of the Muskego Icetronauts Club and Muskego Women's Club, Susan had a heart for service and a passion for her community. Additionally, she took great pride in serving as a Girl Scout Leader, guiding and mentoring young girls with dedication and care.
In her leisure time, Susan enjoyed a variety of hobbies including golf, bowling, and snowmobiling. She was also notably the official turkey squawker for the wii bowling league at Forest Ridge, showcasing her vibrant spirit and sense of humor. Bingo was another favorite pastime there, where she often enjoyed friendly competition with friends.
For many years, Susan cherished family camping trips and time spent with dear family friends, Pat and Russ, and their family, creating lasting memories that would be treasured for a lifetime.
Susan is survived by her loving children, Cheryl (John), Cindy (Dave), Linda (John), Sandy (Gene), and Ken (Michelle). She will also be fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald, who she missed dearly, as well as her brother Bill.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on August 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Max A.
