Susan M. Scanlan

Susan M. Scanlan passed away peacefully after bravely battling heart disease, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ora and James and her little brother, Richard.

Susan was a devoted mother to her loving son Aaron (Cate) and daughter Erin, and a proud grandmother to Madison, Katherine, and Carter, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her cherished sister Christine (Ronald) and dear brother Butch (Elaine), as well as her loving nephews Rick (Nancy) and Randy (Maree), who held a special place in her heart.

Susan also leaves behind many dear friends and colleagues from the Milwaukee Housing and Urban Development office, where she shared years of dedication, laughter, and friendship.

Susan’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community touched everyone who knew her. Her courage, generous spirit, and deep love for those around her will forever be remembered. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her in return.
