Thomas A. Knaffla

Knaffla, Thomas A. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 25, 2017 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Carolyn (nee Smith) for 56 years. Devoted dad of Scott (Shelly) Knaffla, Julie (Donald) Yuenger, Kristin (Jeff) Stelling and Colleen (Dean) Stier. Proud Pa of Amber, Dylan Abby, Kayla, Mason, Sam, Evan, Ryan, Hailey and Caden along with 2 great-grandchildren, Julian and Ella. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Thomas J. and Josephine Knaffla. Brother of Patricia (Jim) Walsh and Terry (Brad Huard) Knaffla. Survived by many other relatives and friends. Tom was an avid outdoorsman, he loved woodworking and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a devout Catholic and was actively involved with his parish. He retired from Rockwell Automation after 38 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St Matthew Parish, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Herma Heart Center or to Region 8 of the Special Olympics. Visitation at ST. MATTHEW PARISH-OAK CREEK (9303 S. Chicago Rd., Oak Creek, WI) on Friday June 30 from 9-10:45AM. Funeral Mass at 11AM. Please meet at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at 12:45 for burial.
