Thomas Michael Schulte, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on August 19, 1953, to James and Barbara Schulte (née Jahnke).

Tom was the devoted husband and best friend of Debbie Schulte, with whom he shared nearly 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and countless cherished memories.

He was the proud father of Mark Schulte and Denise (the late Keith) Jankowski, and the adoring grandfather of Aubree Jankowski, who brought him endless joy. Tom treasured every opportunity to watch Aubree dance and sing, and nothing made him prouder than being her grandpa.

He is survived by his siblings, Gary (Diane) Schulte, Ken (Toby) Schulte, and David (the late Bonnie) Schulte. He was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria (the late Fredrik) Jakobson. He is also survived by his sisters- and brothers-in-law: Diana (Robert), Kenneth (Mary), Lisa (Jeff), Laura, and Amy; his goddaughter, Jenny Wiktorek; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Tom dedicated more than 30 years of service to Ladish, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee.

Outside of work, Tom embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He loved spending time up north with family and friends, bowling alongside Debbie, and coaching Denise's middle school softball team. He was a lifelong learner who enjoyed educating himself through online courses and even became an ordained minister. In his free time, he found joy in building model boats, constructing radios, and pursuing his passion for amateur (Ham) radio.

More than anything, Tom will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his willingness to learn something new, and the quiet kindness he shared with those around him. His love, wisdom, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tom's legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date; please check back for updates.
