Thomas A. Wright

Thomas A. Wright, of Muskego, Wisconsin, passed away on July 31, 2026, at Froedtert Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 17, 1955 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. 

Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police officer in Korea with ranking SP4. Following his military service, he built a successful career in the security industry, serving as President of Total Security Warehouse until his retirement in 2022. He was respected for his innovation, strong work ethic, and loyalty to those he worked alongside.

Above all else, Tom cherished his family. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved and creating lasting memories with family and friends. He also enjoyed writing and playing music, golfing, reading, and sharing good conversations with those around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Lisa (Laczniak) Wright; his children, Alex (Colleen) Wright and Jacob Wright; his stepchildren, Danielle (Chad) Kucik and Derek (Kelsey) Laczniak; his cherished grandchildren, Owen Wright, Hanna Kucik, Hudson Kucik, and Maxwell Laczniak; his siblings, James “Skip” Wright, David (Shara) Wright, and Susan (Bill) Dulde; as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and June Wright; Stepmother, Jean Wright, brother, Dennis Wright; and his wife, Patricia Wright.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home -Mission Hills Chapel, (8910 W. Drexel Ave, Franklin, WI) on August 12th, 2026 from 11am until time of service at 1pm.

The family extends their gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff at Froedtert Hospital for the compassionate care they provided. 

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any memorials to go to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
