Ursula Heil (Immekus) 

(nee Plewa) Died peacefully Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 82. She had suffered with Alzheimer's Disease for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph L. Heil, Sr., and her devoted, loving children, Nicolette (Rick Regeth), Michelle (Chris Allen), and Adrian (Jolie). She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark (Sonja) Immekus, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mira and Henry Rychlik.

Ursula was blessed to be the loving grandmother of Alex (Carmen) Immekus, Amanda (Keegan) Einerson, Cody Pizzella, Jacqueline (Connor) Iaquinta, Michael (Anna) Immekus, Joseph Immekus, and Evan, Addison, and Gia Immekus.

She also knew the joy of three great grandchildren, Eden Rae and Lucas Iaquinta, and Elle Immekus.

She is further survived by dear nephew, Andrew Rychlik, and niece, Christine Frymark.

Also survived by the children of her husband, Joseph (Kelley) Heil, Jr., Jennifer (Peter) Buffett, Christine (James) Prebil, and Jeffrey Heil, and many cherished friends.

Ursula was born in Poland in 1943 and came to this country in January, 1951. She was educated at Mercy High School and UWM. She married Charles Immekus (deceased) in 1964.

For many years Ursula worked in branch operations at a regional financial services firm that was purchased by UBS. She retired in 2008.

She and husband, Joseph, are long-time members of St. Josaphat's Basilica.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. Josaphat, 2333 S. 6th St., on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 AM. Please enter off of the 6th Street parking lot.
